One of the best clones of the classic Tetris that we`ve tried.
Tetris is a very famous game. Designed and developed by Alexey Pajitnov in 1984, it quickly became a classic. The simple idea of moving different shaped blocks as they fall in order to complete rows, thus making them disappear, caused a furor when it was launched. And, of course, because it was so successful there have been a plethora of copies and variations over the ensuing thirty years. One such is this one, called HaCKeR. As you might be able to guess by now, HaCKeR is a program that is considered one of the best clones of the classic Tetris that we've tried. Smooth movements, growing difficulty with screens and objects more and more complicated, various game modes (individual, against another player, co-operative, on-line...).
HaCKeR follows the classic rules of Tetris, has multiple levels, and you can play solo, against an opponent or with them. You can play it over a LAN or the Internet too. There is a handy red bar to show you your progress through the game, too.
HaCKeR has a special level at the end if you make it that far. It is essential if you like Tetris.
